Privacy Policy
This page sets out Atex Digital’s position in plain language. It is a working draft pending review by the company’s legal counsel and does not yet constitute the final binding agreement.
What we collect
Account details you provide (name, artist or label name, email address, payment details), the release metadata you submit, and the reporting data the stores return about your releases.
Why we collect it
To deliver your releases to stores, to identify you as the rights holder, to calculate and pay royalties, to meet tax and accounting obligations, and to provide support.
Who it is shared with
Digital stores and streaming services, in order to deliver and identify your releases; collection societies, where you have registered songs for publishing administration; and payment providers. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Atex operates from India, the United States, Australia, Bangladesh and Nepal, and the stores we deliver to are global, so your data is processed across borders as a necessary part of distribution.
Your rights
You can request access to your personal data, correction of anything inaccurate, and deletion where we are not required to retain it. Email Support@atexdigital.com.
Retention
Account and royalty records are retained for as long as required for accounting, tax and rights-management purposes.
Still to be confirmed
The lawful bases relied on, the specific retention periods, the named data controller entity, the processor list, the supervisory authority for complaints, and any DPO contact must be confirmed by the company’s legal counsel before launch.
